6 months old!

Aiden is 6 months old!  The older he gets the more wiggly he gets! Notice how his right food is blurry? Some of his other pics are too, sometimes is just hard to get him to hold still long enough to snap a pic especially with my camera taking a dump on me so now I only have my cell phone camera. It’s hard to believe its October already! Fall is my favorite time of year, when all the leaves are turning different colors and when the air out side feels crisp and cold. Not to mention my birthday happens to be this month!

This is what we have been up to!

Weight: 22. 5 lbs at 98 percentile
Length: 27.5" at 83 percentile
Head: 17"

Diaper size: moved him into 4 because he kept leaking out of the 3s.

 Naps: He usually takes a 2-4 hr nap but lately they have been cat naps of only half hour to and hour and a half.
Clothes: 3-6 months and 6-9 months. He isn't growing like a weed like he was the first few months.

Aiden is able to sit up straight without assistance or falling over. He can even turn around to look behind him. He has taken a tumble or two over. His hurt/ scared cry is so sad! 

He is  getting better at moving around he hasn't quite figured out how to move his hands and legs together yet. He will get up onto his hands and knees, rock like crazy and then he shoots himself forward and then gets back into his knees. 

 He loves to go outside, He is constantly looking around.

He loves playing outside in the grass. In case you didn’t know, pulling grass is quite entertaining.

He got his first ride on the four-wheeler with Grandpa Nielsen. He just held on and looked around.

He got to try his first Popsicle. He wasn't feeling too good and had a fever and possibly a sore throat . All I could get him to take was the popsicle and some cold water. Poor buddy! 

 He loves his jumperoo! Pretty cute how he jumps in it!

Playing on Mommy and Daddy’s bed is fun, specially when Mommy is trying to make the bed!  

And doing the laundry!

He loves his baths! First time in the bath tub. Finally had to move him to the tub because he slashes too much!

 

He loves water!

He has the cutest giggles ever!

He got his very first taste of mush today at 6 months old!

He likes to pull Mommy's hair when ever he gets the chance. I now get why new moms chop their hair off when the have kids. When he I pick him up after he has been whining he hugs my neck and gives me a wet kiss. Aiden likes to bite his Daddy but he wont bite me- don't know why that is..... Don't get me wrong I'm grateful. He has bitten me a few times while nursing. He likes to put his feet in his mouth specially when he is wearing jammies with feet.

5 months

Aiden Jerel is 5 months old!

Can you believe Aiden is 5 months old? Yep, neither can we! He is growing so fast I wish I could press pause but every day it seems like he is learning new things all the time.

Weight- 20lb 

Went swimming for the first time at Bear Lake and loved it! He loved playing in the water and trying to touch get sand and then when he thought no one was looking he would try to put his little sandy hands in his mouth.

Cut his first tooth Aug 20th. Joshua's birthday we had gone over to my parents for cake and ice cream. I had noticed Aiden was trying to eat my hands more than normal and earlier that week I had given him an ice cube to suck on but he didn't like it. I thought I would try again and he loved it. The next day I was shocked to have him bit down on my finger and felt something sharp. Cut his 2nd tooth Aug 31st. His second tooth took a little longer to cut but at least this time I could see it coming in because it was swollen. He has been a little on the cranky side with is teeth coming in but he has been pretty good. It had changed his sleeping cycle more than anything.  

Starting to rock back and forth on his hands and knees.

Can turn in circles on his tummy.

Can sit by himself with a straight back.

Got a big boy car seat.  

Loves babies. Specially his cousin Jax.

Has found his tongue.

, Sat in his first shopping cart.

 Has the cutest smile ever!!!!

 Is a silly little boy.

Loves his luvy.

Loves his baths in the sink.

When he is squealing and talking his sounds start to sound like actual sounds like "hi" and "mama" and "yeah".

For Daddies bday we went to went to my parents for butterfingers "better than whoopie" cake and ice cream. The cake I made was amazing!
