9 months old!

AIDEN IS 9 MONTHS OLD!!!!

Things about our Aiden

Size Diaper: 4

Clothes: 12-18 months and some 24.

Weight: 25lb or so.

He got 4 more teeth this month! His front two and two more on the bottom for a total count of 8 teeth! The order he has gotten his teeth have been anything but normal. 

We had to lower the mattress of his crib because I found him standing in his crib.

 He has got his crawl down and he is pretty quick! He gets into everything! He now pulls himself up on everything and thinks he is big stuff and has started to cruse on the by holding onto the couch and walking. I find him standing and holding onto the tub a lot! He loves his baths! He also loves to walk with us holding his hands.

Loves to play the piano and has just figured out that he is tall enough to reach the keys! He sure is a tall baby for his age! Well... what do you expect people? Jerel and I are both pretty tall!

For some reason or another, he loves when Jerel hangs him upside down!

  Im not sure Aiden was liked the texture of the wrapping paper. For Christmas he got a fisher price gum ball machine, a talking cookie jar, a farm truck which came with a cow and a piggy, a jungle and a red ball. He got a bunch of little things too but way to much for me to list. Just thought I would put the big things down. 

             Got Scooby jammies from Santa on Christmas Eve.

We spent Christmas Day with my side of the family this year!

Our little puppy! He really likes the Gerber's Puffs if you cant tell!

He went sledding for the first time! He liked when daddy pulled him around in the sled.

 He even went with daddy on a few runs but didn’t like getting snow in the face. 

Thinks hes a big boy! He sat on it for like 30mins and got mad when I took him off. He amazes me at just how big he is getting and how time flys! I think we are going to have to get him a trike very soon! I can believe how well he sits on it and all by himself!

He didn't want his cousins to touch the bike while he was on it. He says "No! No! No!" really good.

He is really good at doing cheesy smiles! 

 I made Aiden a new hat! A monkey hat for my little monkey!

We love him so much! He is such a sweetie!

8 months old

 8 months old!

Our little monkey is 8 months old and we are loving every moment of it!

-12-18 month clothes and a size 4 diaper.

He stopped clapping his hands for a few weeks  and has now remembered how again. Funny how they forget things only to remember them again.

He likes his tongue. I find him with it out a lot. And he also does what Jerel calls "the fat kid" face.

Likes the vacuum and will follow me from room to room.  

Still Likes: peaches, squash, carrots, sweet potates, and now likes peas, apple sauce and bananas- only bananas if they are mixed with other fruits.

Has a fascination with shoes and laces

Has got the wounded soldier crawl down, crawling with up on his right hand and left elbow.  The last few weeks he has been crawling on his hands and knees but goes back to the wounded soldier when he wants to go fast.

Got two top teeth. Pretty funny that they are the side teeth and not his two front ones.  Hes our little vampire! Ha Ha- I can usually only get pictures of his teeth when he is sleeping. As you can see his front teeth are swollen and will probably come in shortly.

Says “dada”, “mama”, “baba” really well.

He loves when daddy plays with him!

Got him a new high chair. So glad we did. Makes it so much easier to feed the wiggly worm.

 Opening the highchair was fun too.

Loves to play hid and go seek with mommy and daddy.  Notice his wounded solider style of crawling.

Loves bath time!

Likes his toes and is good at pulling his socks off. If I don’t put his shoes of before I put him in the car he will put his socks off by the time we get out of the car.

 

Movie time with mommy & daddy!

Loves “face time” with daddy! Jerel has been working a lot so it has been really nice.

This Thanks giving was Jerel’s  family’s year or “ in-laws” but we tried to visit both families. We went to my parent’s in the morning to watch the Macys Thanksgiving Parade and then to my grandparents for a short visit before we went to Jerel’s parents to eat and the rest of Thanksgiving. It was really nice that Jerel had Wednesday-Saturday off to spend time with us.  It makes me excited for Christmas break to come.

I put our Christmas Tree up shortly after Thanksgiving. Aiden has actually been really good about not pulling on the tree which surprised me! I am excited to take him to see the lights in Temple Square this year.

 Found some old photos of Jerel and I when we were about the same age as Aiden. I see a lot of both of us in him!
