19 months

Aiden boe Baiden is 19 months old! Wow! My baby isn't much of a baby anymore! 

Things about Aiden

• Diaper size: 5- He has been in this size forever & I"m pretty sure he will stay in them until he is potty trained.
• Clothes: 2T & 3T with 18 month jeans.
• Number of Teeth: 16
• Shoe size: 4
• Favorite Foods: Yogurt, Oatmeal, Cheese, Grapes, Tomatoes, Fruit snacks, Chips, Peaches, Reese's Puff cereal, Corn dogs, PB&J sandwiches, Peas & PIZZA! He loves pizza. Other than what is listed he is a picky eater. Sometimes to get him to eat we have to watch movies.
• Favorite movies: Winnie the Pooh, Despicable Me.
• Favorite books: Monsters Inc., any animal book
• Favorite things to do: Bubbles, play with his farm & jungle animals, legos, tool set, read books. This week I'm going to make play doe and see what he thinks of that.
• He has become a babbling machine. He says mom and dad -usually deeda to tease his daddy, please.  He calls mom or dad when he wakes up in the morning or from naps. Love it! So cute.
• He sleeps with his bear and hippo and sometimes monkey comes to bed too. I love that he gives them loves. He also goes to sleep while listening to his primary music.
• We are working on learning animals. He doesn't say their names but can identify: cow, pig, horse, rooster, chicken, cat, dog, sheep, duck, elephant, bear, lion, hippo, bird, monkey,  zebra, & fish. And makes the sounds of a cow, monkey, lion/bear, dog, & cat.
• He loves to sing and do the actions for: "If you happy & you know it", "5 little monkeys jumping on the bed" & "5 little monkeys swinging in the tree", "Patty cake", "Incy Wincey Spider", "Head, shoulders, knees, & toes".

I love the face he pulls when he dances!

 He was also loving his sucker.

 This was not 5 mins after getting in the car.

 The weather is getting pretty cold so we bundled him up and played on the swing set. It was too cold so he didn't want to swing for long.

This car mat was actually Jerel's when he was little. He loves cars.

He randomly brings his ball out to sit on it. 

 Aiden loves to do pull ups just like daddy. We keep Jerel's pull up bar in the closet and when ever it gets left open he will find it and pull it over to Jerel to put up.

 Funny little boy. His face just lights up and he gets really excited.

 He also likes to have his face shaved like daddy. When Jerel shaves his face, Aiden is always waiting for his turn.

It must tickle.

 Aiden loves his animals, eating cereal with his hippo. 

 Little stinker climbed up onto the window seal using his bike.

 My cute little stinker. How can I be mad at this little stink when he looks like this!

 

When he goes to sleep he has to have his bear and hippo.

 First time carving pumpkins. Aiden loved his pumpkins.

 Carving his first pumpkin with daddy. He wasn't so sure about the gooey insides but liked the carving spoon.

I love that he put his feet up for this pic. 

 After we were all done,  Aiden gave each of them hugs.

He was also sad to leave his new friends outside and kept asking to go outside to see them.

 We dressed Aiden up as a little skeleton for Jerel's paren's ward party.

 I crocheted his skeleton hat.

I'm gonna miss these chubby, squeezable cheeks of his.

 He didn't care must for the soup they had but he sure loved the donuts.

 For Trick-or-Treating he was Tigger.

 We put his Tigger costume on the night before and couldn't get him to take it off.

 Trick-or-Treating with his cousins Jaxon and Brooklyn. We went around the block near my moms house. Aiden wasn't too sure about taking candy from strangers. He would reach into the bowl and then just stare at the person holding the candy while Jaxon took one after another.

 We also trick-or-treated at G&G Nielsen's, G Eldon's, G Achatz, ( grandpa Achatz was working)& G&G Page. When we got to Grandpa Eldon's, Grandpa Eldon didn't have his teeth in which scared the pants off Aiden. He didn't even want to go in and was very careful about taking candy from him.

While at my mom's he found a spoon and wouldn't leave it so he took it house to house trick-or-treating and then had to take it to G&G Page's house.

 I love Aiden's face in this one.

 The monkey for some reason didn't want to sit by Tigger.

25 weeks

How far along? 25 weeks 

Current weight/ Total Weight gain: 139 lbs- Yikes!!!! Lets just say the Halloween candy was not my friend. All together thats 10 lbs.... 
Maternity clothes? Yep

Sleep: Alright. I wake up a lot and become restless.
Best moment this week: Hearing baby girl's heart beat. Dr. Firth said it was nice and strong. I am measuring about 26 cm. 

Miss Anything? I'm feeling really good. Really can't complain. I do get winded when If I walk too fast and running is out of the question.

Movement: She is constantly kicking. Sometimes when I go to bed and lay on my side she will kick the bed then when I roll over she will kick on the other side- it kinda hurts.

Food cravings or things you can eat: Apples & peanut butter, Chocolate, Yogurt, & Peaches.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.
Symptoms: Feeling pretty good. Ligament pains on my right side less often lately. My back hurts at night when I lay on one side for too long. Grateful this time around it isn't a constant thing as of yet.

Have you started to show yet: Yes. I feel like I have "popped" over the past week. Getting bigger equals very few shirt options to wear.

24 Weeks

How far along? 24 weeks 

Current weight/ Total Weight gain: 134 lbs/+4 (from pre-prego weight)
Maternity clothes? Yep, my maternity jeans are still really loose but comfy.

Stretch marks? Nope.

Sleep: Good!
Best moment this week: Feeling great. Baby has been super active.

Miss Anything? I feel like I am starving all the time!

Movement: She has really been on the move the last few days. 

Food cravings or things you can eat: Halloween candy, Apple juice, Yogurt.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.
Symptoms: Feeling pretty good. Ligament pains on my right side less often lately.

Have you started to show yet: Yes, like I'm hiding a pumpkin under there.

Gender? GIRL!!!

Name: When we found out we were pregnant we picked a first & middle name for both a girl & boy. Alexis Jade is what we decided. Today I suddenly have been considering switching her name to Jade Alexis. Reasoning for the possible change: #1 I'm not so big on her having the same initials as Aiden and that has been nagging in the back of my mind. #2 We aren't exactly going for "A" names. #3 Jerel told me he actually likes Jade better. #4 She would probably go by Lexie if her first name was Alexis any way.- Jerel says it  doesn't matter the order of her name we can call her either. Also I have had the thought of  naming her after me but Kristin doesn't really flow as a middle name....

23 weeks

This is 23 weeks Prego with Aiden . 

I am wearing the same shirt for baby #2

How far along? 23 weeks 

Current weight/ Total Weight gain: 133 lbs
Maternity clothes? Shirts, 1 pair of jeans- they are big but comfy

Stretch marks? Nope.

Sleep: As good as possible with a cold- 2nd cold this pregnancy. :(
Best moment this week: Feeling great.

Miss Anything? -

Movement: She moves around a lot when I lay down for bed. She doesn't like to be poked and will kick back.

Food cravings or things you can eat: Cheerios with bananas, Apples, Yogurt, Chocolate- oreaos, anything really, Oatmeal, Juices.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Not much. Car rides?
Symptoms: Ligament pains mostly on my right side. Back pain when I lay on one side for too long but it goes away when I switch positions. 

Have you started to show yet: Yes. Filling out.

22 weeks

How far along? 22 weeks 

Current weight/ Total Weight gain: 132 lbs- starting to gain weight! Preprego weight was 130.
Maternity clothes? Shirts

Stretch marks? Nope.

Sleep: Sleeping pretty good. I wake up on my back a lot....
Best moment this week: My tummy moves when baby kicks. 

Miss Anything? Feeling good.

Movement: She kicks a lot at the end of the day and falls asleep when I shower.

Food cravings or things you can eat: Yogurt cremes, Yogurt, Apple juice, Apples, Bananas over cheerios, Oatmeal, Chocolate.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Hot meats cooking, lunch meat is gross.
Symptoms: Ligament pains mostly on my right side- hurts to get up too quickly or bend down too far. I'm getting a cold so my body is more achy.

Have you started to show yet: Yes. I am loosing my hips which makes carrying Aiden much more difficult.

21 Weeks

How far along? 21 weeks & my 25th Birthday!

Current weight/ Total Weight gain: 129 lbs
Maternity clothes? I bought a few maternity shirts from Ross. They are much more comfortable than my tight pre-preggie shirts. Sweats & stretchy pants are awesome and most comfortable. I only wear jeans when we go somewhere.

Stretch marks? Nope.

Sleep: Sleeping pretty good for the most part. I roll over a lot to stay comfortable.
Best moment this week: I got all of baby girl's clothes washed and put away! 

Miss Anything? Feeling pretty big! But I feel good!

Movement: She kicks a bunch throughout the day.

Food cravings or things you can eat: Muffins, Yogurt, Apple Juice, Chocolate chip pumpkin bread, 

Anything making you queasy or sick: I have been feeling pretty good. Smells don't seem to bother me for the most part any more. I still don't like hamburgers or the smell of them.
Symptoms: Ligament pains mostly on my right side- hurts to get up too quickly or bend down too far, random sciatic nerve pain which has been affecting my left leg hopefully I don't experience that again. Fatigue.

Have you started to show yet: Yes. Showing more and more every day and def from week to week.

18 months

  Aiden 18 Months

!8 month checkup stats:

Weight: 29 lbs

Height: 34"

Diaper size: 5

Clothes/: 2T & 3t with some 18 months pants. Most his clothes are on the bigger side so they last longer.

Shoe size: 4

Number of Teeth: 16

Favorite food: Pizza, Oatmeal, Yogurt, Grapes, Tomatoes, Apples, Peas & Carrots, Oreos.

Words he can say when asked: Ball, Mama, Dad, Baby, Uh-oh, Please, No, Cheese, Down, Star, Bear, Bath, Aiden, Grandma, Yes. Some words sound more like the words than others. He is learning words all the time and we are working on new words everyday! He doesn't always remember them but he does try to copy words.- When he wants and is in the mood to. The word please I am hearing more often which is cute! For the most part he isn't much of a rambling, babbling little boy that is around people. When he is off playing by himself he does. Even though he doesn't take much we know he understands a ton and is very bright.

Things about Aiden

• He loves to sing and be sung to. 
• He goes down for his nap around 1 and sleeps for 2-4 hrs with his blanket, bear, and primary music playing. Same goes for bed time but with a night light & the blinds of his wind open- I think the room gets a little too dark. He usually sleeps through the night but sometimes he will wake and needs a drink of milk. 
• He is really good at knowing his body parts and can point them out on himself, you, and the toy he is playing with.  
• He has been learning his animals. He has a puzzle with  8 different animals that he can match all by himself. He is also good at pointing out certain animals in his book when asked. 
• He is also learning his shapes. He has gotten really good at putting the shapes into grandma's shape ball and can now do it by himself. He has learned the word "star". 
• When he wants you to fallow him, he will grab you by the finger or pant leg and pull you until you go with him. He is very persistent and isn't very distracted at that point. 
• He likes to watch Curious George and Sesame St. & pretty much anything else. I really try to limit him to 2 hr or less a day.
• The last few days we decided to get rid of his binky cold turkey. He has actually done much better than I thought. I am hoping it is gone for good! He sleeps better at night because he isn't waking because he lost his binky. He is also a better little boy because he is learning to calm himself down without it. The only draw back is that it takes him longer to fall asleep for his naps and at bed time. I think we chose the best time to say good bye and I am so glad we did! Next up potty training? Ha not for a while!

 This is how he likes to sleep!

  He loves to stand up in the tub and pretend to get out until I come to get him out, then he sits down. He also LOVES to splash like a mad baby.

Sometimes he is silly when I get him out of the tub but most of the time he is sad.

 For Aiden's cousin, Carters birthday they did water slides. This was before the water. It was a pretty chilly day but he still had fun.

 And ninja turtles.

 This is what he does when I say- "lets put your pants on". Stinker.

 Can you say future black mail? He had to wear it and kept bringing it to me until I put it on him.

He loves to sing. His favorite songs are "5 little monkeys" ,"Insy Wincy spider" & "Twinkle little star" because he can do the actions.

 He is a yogurt monster and loves to feed himself.

 He is actually getting better with eating with a spoon.

 He has become really attached to his teddy bear.

 Kisses for bear. He loves watching movies cuddling with bear. He loves his toys. I will often see him giving them kisses when he plays with them.

And of course he sleeps with bear too.

 This is the face he does when he dances to the Law & Order song.

 Folding his arms for prayer. Love that he does this when we say lets say prayer and after he throws his arms in the air and says "Amen!"

He is a good little copy cat! Cracks me up.

 He loves chocolate chip pumpkin bread.

Aiden got to announce he is getting a baby SISTER!!! He doesn't look too happy about wearing the headband but he actually wanted it on.

I am so thankful for this little boy! I can't imagine life without him. I love you so much Aiden!
