17 Weeks

Baby Nielsen is 17 weeks and is the size of a ONION & CAN HEAR MUSIC! About 5.1 inches, 5.9 oz. Baby Nielsen likes to kick throughout the morning while I am at work and in the evening when I am laying down on my back! The Dr. told us that Jerel probably wouldn't be able to feel baby's kicks until 21 or so weeks. Tuesday evening I called Jerel over to tell him the baby was kicking probably because I have my lap top resting on the my tummy! Jerel got to feel his first kick! :)  Pretty cool! Our 17th week appt went well. We got to hear baby's heartbeat which is still going strong. I am 127 lb and my tummy measures about 16 cm, Dr. Firth says "Wow your tiny!" when he measured me. We go to find out if Baby Nielsen is a boy or a girl on the 22nd of this month! We are both excited that we will know what we are having by Thanksgiving so we can tell all the family!
