Jerel-Kristin-Aiden-Jade-Kasen-Cora: 4 months old

Our little stinker is 4 months old!!!!

I can hardly believe he is a whole 4 months old! I am the mother of a 4 month old people! It seems impossible that it was 1 year ago that we got a positive pregnancy test and found out that we would be having a baby! Where does the time go? One year later we have this amazing little boy in our lives, I find myself thinking these very thoughts a lot that how big of a difference 1 year can make.

Things about our little chunky monkey

Weight: On our scale at home 19lbs! He is in the 97 percentile
Length: 26" 85 percentile

Diaper size: just moved him up to size 3

Clothes: he wears mostly 3-6 month but 6-9 month fits too!

Sleeps: his bed time is 8pm and he sleeps through the night and wakes at about 6am or 7am with a 4 hour nap during the day.

Eats: every 3-4 hr
He did really good with his 4 month shots didn't even cry. He was squealing and talking for all of the dr app. Dr. Firth thought he was stinking cute. Dr. Firth says he is advanced with being able to roll over so well and he is amazed that he has started to scoot and crawl as well as sit up by himself. He was very impressed that Aiden sleeps through the night and still does a 4 hr nap. I asked him about swimming pools and he ok it so Aiden will get to go swimming here in a few weeks!

He would much rather be on his tummy so he will flip seconds after being put on his back. He has gotten really good at rolling over and rolling over fast. I don't mind that he loves to be on his tummy, makes doing tummy time his choice and he gets stronger. I actually think he has thinned out a little from being on his tummy. His thighs how ever seem to be getting bigger by the day! He will no longer sleep on his back, its tummy or side only. If I put him in his crib on his back he will roll over in his sleep. He moves a lot in his sleep, poor baby gets caught in the rails of his crib almost every time! Not only is he a rolling machine he is also able to sit up by himself and not tip over!

He loves his toys specially his ball. I try to always have a toy for him to play with when we go places, On his tummy, he will inch as far as he needs to in order to reach his toys. He also likes the rattle I have on my phone.

He is always full of smiles and giggles. He loves to lay on his tummy and squeal as loud as he can. And loves when you do it back to him. He is the loudest when he is in a room all by himself. Lately he has been doing it whenever he is happy which is usually after a cat nap or eating. It doesn't matter who you are he will smile at you! He loves when we talk to him. I love his smiles and his deep little laughs. I love that when he smiles he turns away almost like he is shy. What makes him laugh: mommy eating his neck and growling, daddy raising him up into the air, grandpa Nielsen rubbing his feet on his prickly face. Raising him up in the air also calms him down when he is cranky!

He puts everything and anything in his mouth especially his hands! They must taste pretty good because they are in his has mouth more than not.

He got his first hair cut which was very tricky by the way! Aunt Alisha did a great job! We only cut about a 1/2" off cause I wanted it to stand up not comb over,

He loves to play in his saucer! He likes to rock back and forth in this thing and of course squeal and be loud which is pretty funny to watch. This kid loves to be loud. "If your happy and you know it make a lot of noise!" Its crazy how fast he is growing. Only a month ago I put him in this and a couple of times he would lose control and hit his face on the toys because he wasn't yet able to sit up very well.

Some new things I love that Aiden does: he likes to touch my face when I rock him to sleep. He will also touch our faces when we are playing and talking to him if within reach. He has found his toes and likes to grab them when ever he gets the chance. He is kinda a mommy's boy for the time being, He will watch when ever I am in sight and I pretty much can get him to smile on command! He likes to hold the burp rag for me while I change his diaper which is pretty cute! He loves getting his diaper changed still. He hasn't peed with his diaper off in a long time but now that I have said that I'm pretty sure I have ginxed myself! His first shower was pretty funny! Jerel thought the water would scare him but he loved it just like he did with is first bath. He gets pretty slippery though so I have to make sure to cradle him tight which by doing so he for sure took advantage of the opportunity to shower and eat all at the same time. He is a very cuddley baby which I lobve. He gives the best and very wet kisses.

We were at my moms the other day, Aiden seemed pretty interested in my mom's does Zeik and Zoey. I put Aiden down on the floor to see what Zeik would do and he layed right next to him which was pretty cute.

He loves loves loves to play with daddy! Jerel sometimes plays a little rougher than I would like but daddies will be daddies! Jerel's dad likes to do the same, he says "this babys in dangerous territory!" because he is just so cute that or "he is one of those kind of babys!" He says he cant just leave him there when he is laying on his tummy at grandma &grandpa Nielsen's house!

I put Aiden in the pack'n play with Jaxon and he just zoned right in and seemed very interested, We have to be careful though cause he likes to grab at his face which makes Jaxon cry. "It's ok dude! I didn't mean to!"

The 24th of July after the parade! The parade goes right past my grandma & grandpa Pages house, Pretty cute that they are all dressed up in ReD wHiTe & BlUe!
Playing with Grandma & Grandpa Achatz and Great Grandma and Grandpa Page! They really could just eat him up!
