Our baby is turning into a little boy! 13 months this month. I guess I will now just do a pic with his hippo every year around his birthday if I can remember- instead of every month. He is for sure changing but not as drastically as the first 12 months. It has been fun to see how fast he has grown and I will for sure do it with baby number 2 and so on. I look back at Aiden's first few pics with his hippo and I can't believe it.
What we have been up to!
Clothes- 18-24 months
diaper- size 4
Food- instant oatmeal, mac&cheese with peas, pastas, spaghetti, rice, orange juice, cows milk- he likes it if it has sat out for a little bit, cherro's, puffs, fries- yes u heard right he has only had a few but he sure likes the greasy things.
Well this past month: Aiden had his 1 year check up. He was 25 lbs, 86 percentile and 31", 85 percentile. He got 5 shots. He did really good with the first two shots then he got a little sad but he did really good. Dr. Firth was very impressed when he asked about his speech development when I started to list the words he says and I said "light" which at the time was his newest word. He looked up and pointed at the light.

Every time we say "Aiden wheres the light?" this is what he does! :)
Notice his motorcycle? Yep we returned the radio flyer that his G&G Nielsen got him because it wasn't good quality like we had thought and got him his first motorbike. It plays several songs and honks. He loves, loves, loves it!
He has become quite the climber and dare devil. I have to keep an eye on this one.
Aiden is finally decided that it was time for him to start walking and not just a few wobbly steps and then a dive bomb forward. He decided he liked walking back and forth between us game and from then on he walks every where! :) He hasn't figured out how to stand up without holding on to something yet. But he gets around!
With walking comes the booboos. We did pictures with Ginger-Jerel's cousin- we had to wait until the end of the month for the weather to cooperate and a few more days because he had owies on his nose or cheek from falling. The little stinker didn't smile in all but two pics. These are some of my favorite from his photo shoot. :)
The cute little chair he is sitting on was from Janese's primary when she was a little girl.

The suitcase Aiden is sitting in is actually Great-Grandpa Eldon Nielsen's. Love that we could use a prop that has meaning. :)

He can do the stairs up and down like a pro. He had lots of practice at the Tabernacle when we went to here Grandpa Page sing with the Glee Club.
He loves music and swings is arms around and shrugs his shoulders when he daces.
He loves his walks in the stroller. He goes all quiet and relaxed but he doesn't fall asleep. He just watches everything.
And I got a hair cut.
There are many new things for a little boy at Grandma Nielsens house......
He can climb the shelves of the fridge!
He can seen inside the dryer!
And the washer!
He can see out the windows! He loves that!
There is grass! And sticks! He picks up every stick he can get his chubby little hands on.
G&G Nielsen entertain him when we go places.
And he gets to see his Papa Al every day! We got to enjoy our first fire of the year in 
Jerel's parents back yard. Aiden wanted to go touch the fire and wasn't so happy sitting on our laps.
He loves to give his daddy raspberries on his cheek.
And we love to kiss his chubby cheeks.

My silly billy.
Aiden got his first "big boy" hair cut. He has had 3 trims so far.
Before.....
He held super good when Ginger used the clippers. He must have liked the sound. Look at those cheeks! I could just bite them!!!!
And this is where I was holding my breath cause I couldn't believe we were cutting it all off! :)
He started to get a little wiggly towards the end but hey what little boy doesn't, so Jerel showed him the clippers. He thought that was pretty cool!
After!!! Jerel got a hair cut too. My two handsome boys!
Aiden got to see his first kitty cat! :) He kept trying to squeeze and lay on the poor thing.
And he met Dallas & Julie's pug Charlie and he loves dogs! He loves Ginger's shelty- Ramzy who didn't want anything to do with Aiden. He also loves Jerel's parents dog, Belle. Big dogs, little dogs. He loves them!
