Jerel leaves for AL for 13 weeks next Saturday. This is a day I have been dreading. The kids and I will miss him so much. Its a lot of responsibility taking care of 3 kids by myself specially doing everything myself- keeping the house clean, cooking dinners, taking care of the kids, doing laundry all while being pregnant. Luckily, I have started to feel better. I know I can do it, I just don't want to do it alone. Jerel will be gone my entire 2nd trimester. he leaves during my 13th week and will return around 28 weeks. We will more than likely find out the gender of our baby early March or end of February and tell family around then. We are lucky to have technology so we can face time and call so the kids can still talk to him.
Tomorrow is my 13 week dr appointment. Hoping to hear a strong heart beat.
Some days I want to tell family we are expecting our 4th and other days I enjoy the secret. We did tell Aiden and Jade and told them to keep it a secret. Every now and then I ask Aiden if he remembers my secret and he says he wont tell. :) The further along I get the more I am amazed that we haven't told anyone- well I did tell the primary president who released me from sunbeams while Jerel is gone. I also told my UBAM team leaders leader when we were trying to figure out insurance. But other than that I havent told anyone. With Jerel leaving it makes me not want to tell anyone. One cause of the reaction of- he is leaving and you are pregnant. The "we aren't having any more" comment I have made for a while- which i thought we wouldn't but then obviously that changed. We will see how long we can keep it a secret. I am hoping until March- which is when I will defiantly be showing and we should know the gender. Hoping to make it past Jade's birthday too.
Someone really wanted me to hold him. Ps it is really hard to stand straight while holding this heavy boy lol.
I missed 14 weeks, just never got around to taking a picture. This week has been pretty good. I have felt pretty good and have been doing my exercises every day.- 21 day fix. I will more than likely stop doing stuff on my back in a few weeks. I have felt a little overwhelmed this week with how much weight I have already gained- 5lbs (I am 137 without clothes & 139 with) and I am almost 10 lbs heavier than I was when I was 15 weeks pregnant with kasen. I only started out 6 lbs heavier. I also feel quite bloated all the time. I just need to watch what I eat which is hard cause I have gained an appetite lately. This week, I was able to eat peanut butter which is a change. So now maybe I will be able to eat peanuts. I am probably not looking as big and plumpy as I feel but its not a great feeling.
I have been trying to drink lots of water which has made me feel better I think. I have also been going to be right after I put the kids to bed so around 830-9 so I get lots of sleep.
I never know what to say for these weekly updates so I should probably just copy what I did with the other 3...
How far along? 15 weeks
Current weight/ Total Weight: 139- I will be watching what I eat lol. I feel like the weight gain is faster this time.
Workout: 21 day fix: Total body cardio, Upper fix, Lower fix, ab fix & cardio fix.
Maternity clothes? I don't like my pants done up. Its not that they don't fit but anything resting on my lower stomach is annoying so I have gotten a pair of bigger pants out which I have to wear with a belt.
Stretch marks? -
Sleep: Pretty good considering Jerel is gone for 12 more weeks.
Best moment this week: Feeling pretty good and honestly forget I am pregnant a lot of the time.
Best moment this week: Feeling pretty good and honestly forget I am pregnant a lot of the time.
Miss anything: Jerel. Not really pregnant related though. Don't have any complaints.
Food cravings or things you can eat: oranges, strawberries, frozen waffles, salsa with cheese wraps, fruit loops- ya I know but sometimes they just sound good. I can drink milk alot better without getting too much of a tummy ache. Starbursts & skittles... Today I was able to eat a boiled egg where as 2 weeks ago I couldn't. Had my first pb&honey sandwich yesterday.. it sounded good for once. Probably because I switched from Grandma sycamores wheat bread to SaraLee.
Anything making you queasy or sick: The smell of the sink, garbage, boiled eggs in the fridge- I have to keep them in a tupperware so I can't smell them.
Symptoms: Shooting pains randomly if I stand up too quickly or roll over too quickly. It doesn't happen that often. Sick if I go too long without drinking or eating.
Bloating? Yes. I feel and look bigger than I should be at 15 weeks...
Gender: Find out in about 5 weeks

Food cravings or things you can eat: oranges, strawberries, frozen waffles, I can drink milk alot better without getting too much of a tummy ache. Ate a turkey sandwich yesterday! Boiled eggs are ok. Took the kids to McDonalds and didn't feel great after eating a turkey sandwich that I always get and Dr. Pepper. I really like smoothies.
Anything making you queasy or sick: The smell of the sink, garbage. Cocobutter for stretch marks- I don't even use it.

Starting to show but still in that chubby looking stage.
How far along? 17 weeks
Current weight/ Total Weight: 143 at Dr. appointment fully dressed.
Dr. appointment: Strong heart beat at 160.
Workout: 21 day fix: Total body cardio, Upper fix, Lower fix, ab fix & cardio fix. I have noticed planks are harder to hold. I will just keep doing them until i start noticing DR. It is getting harder to hold my abs in during planks and it some times hurts getting into the position of pulling my navel to my spine.
Maternity clothes? Just looser fitting clothes cause anything tight isn't comfortable around my stomach. I usually wear sweat pants or yoga pants at home and an elastic band around my jeans to make them fit looser. Or I just wear my "fat" jeans cause they need a belt.

Movement: YES. Lots of kicks here and there throughout the day.
Gender:- My guess... honestly I don't know. Jade really wants it to be a "girl baby" she says. I have told her we will be happy even if its a boy baby though. Jerel thinks girl. I want a girl but honestly I have wanted a girl every time.

Current weight/ Total Weight: 143lbs?? I bet i'm about 140 in the mornings. I don't even know any more. my scale went out which could be a good thing cause I can't obsess about it but bad cause I could put a lot of weight on. Sweets are my weakness.
Movements that involve lifting my leg feels weird cause my uterus gets in the way.
Maternity clothes? My shirts are starting to fit more snug depending on the time of day so I'm sure maternity clothes will be soon.
Stretch marks? -
Sleep: Fine. I get up to pee alot.
Best moment this week: Feeling the baby kick. Kasen laid his head on my lap at church and the baby started kicking like crazy. I don't think Kasen could feel or even notice but I could which felt so funny. I find myself smiling when I am surprised by a kick almost cause I forget I am pregnant.

Food cravings or things you can eat: oranges, strawberries, black berries, blue berries frozen waffles with peanut butter, turkey sandwiches.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Normal stinky things. Randomly things wont smell good. Chicken nuggets- the dino shaped ones.
Symptoms: I am ALWAYS hungry!!! It gets pretty annoying when I get hungry again not even an hour after having a meal. I don't feel well if I don't drink enough water throughout the day.
Bloating? Yes...
Movement: YES. Lots of kicks here and there throughout the day.
Gender:- Only guesses of course. I was thinking maybe girl this week since the heart rate has been at 160 the last few visits. Thats only wives tales though. Kasen's was at 146 at my 17th week check up. I want a girl every time so I just tell myself its a boy so when we find out its a boy I am not as disappointed. I will love my baby either way. I just would really like a girl.

Looking forward to: Jade's birthday is this week! We will see if we can keep this baby a secret for a few more weeks. The longer we wait the less I want to tell my mom cause I know she will be upset I didn't tell her sooner. I remember her being upset when we waited until 11 weeks with one of my other babies. I can only imagine how upset she will be this time. Or maybe more sad.
Our reasoning for not telling people we are pregnant was more for fun of keeping it a secret until we knew he gender. Jerel wanted to do this will all of our babies but I never made into the 2nd trimester. We always tell by 10-12 weeks cause I am too excited not to. This time I'm just older, this is my 4th time being pregnant and I kind of liked having a secret of our own. We told the kids a few days before Jerel left to Alabama. That was another reason I was more willing not to tell our family with jerel is gone. Just didn't feel like it. Makes me wonder if it weren't for the fact that I am already showing that I would want to wait until Jerel got home to tell. Maybe. I don't think I could get out of not going up to see family for at least Easter. I think I will be able to get away with hiding it when we go up for Jades bday. Maybe. Wearing a sweater? I don't know what I will do. Maybe the bump will announce its self.

Best moment this week: Baby kicks all the time. I feel hiccups several times a day. Aiden got to feel a few kicks this week. I was too self-conscious about how I was looking and ended up telling my mom. Then Jerel and I face timed at Jerel's parents to tell them I was almost 19 weeks pregnant. Both our parents were surprised. My Mom almost didn't believe me. We will wait until at least next week to tell siblings and other family.

Best moment this week: Finding out we are having a GIRL. Everything looked great not the ultrasound. Her heart beat was about 148 during the ultrasound and 163 for my appointment. The kids were able to come to the ultrasound with me with the help of my Mother-in-law Janese. I had the tech be quiet when he told us the gender so I could tell Jerel and the kids at the same time. Aiden was very upset that I didn't tell him if it was a boy or a girl right away. I filled a muffin tin with pink food coloring and covered it with baking soda then let the kids squirt vinegar. The bubbles turned pink. They were too excited about the experiment to care.

Food cravings or things you can eat: strawberries, black berries, raspberries, frozen pancakes with peanut butter, turkey sandwiches. Trying this week to only indulge once but even then I need to limit it. Had a lactose reaction to too much ice-cream may be the best thing lol.

Dr. Appointment Update: Dilated to a 1cm & 50% effaced. Got my Group Strep B testing done. Recommended to start Pepcid or Previcid for heartburn relief. I will now be seen every week until birth, next week I will be given a induction date. Dr. Harward did say that he is scheduled to be out of town on vacation around the 10th so his partner will deliver if so. I had my 35 week ultrasound done yesterday (6/11/18) and baby is estimated to be about 6lbs 2oz. Dr doesn't anticipate her being bigger than Kasen was probably early 8lbs so maybe similar to Jade was- at 7lbs 14oz.
Baby was head down with her feet on my right side just as I had been thinking she was due to my placenta being on my left side, pretty much cushioning her spine up against it.
Maternity clothes? Yes, thinks are getting tighter.

Symptoms: Round ligament pains but usually only on my right side. Has been most of this pregnancy. Hurts to sit with my feet together on the floor cause of the ligament pain. Feeling stiff after sitting too long, back aches if i over do it or don't sit supported. My lower back and hips feel pretty tight almost all of the time. Stretching helps a little but there really isn't much that I can do about that. Peeing all the time, especially with her sitting lower! I am milk sensitive from cereal in the morning. I can't breath when I set on the couch relaxed but this week has been a little better. Tying my shoes isn't fun hurts and I have Jerel tie them if he is home. Washing my feet in the shower is hard as is shaving below lol. I am defiantly more stiff at night or after 4 so stretching helps with that. Just becoming a little more uncomfortable as the weeks go on. Baby feels really low and punches my bladder which makes me feel like I am peeing a lot. Baby has been kicking or kneeing my right hip which kills. Instant stabbing, shooting pain. I have to put a hand in-between her and my hip to get the pain to stop and to encourage her to move. Hot flashes, I feel like I am always hot and sweaty when it really isn't that hot.

Dr. Appointment Update: 6/25/18 Baby's heart rate was around 146. I am still dilated to a 1 but am now 80% vs two weeks ago of being 50%. Also my cervix is soft. Dr. Harward says all of which are pretty favorable for a successful induction. We don't have a date for sure due to him being on vacation that week lol so his partner will deliver but Dr. Harward is thinking the 10th but possibly the 11th. He Would like me to go in on the 10th in the morning so he just has to make sure that works for his partner dr and the Orem hospital.
Maternity clothes? Nothing really fits all that great. When I am at home I usually wear a pair of jerels comfy basketball shorts and a stretchy shirt of his.
