Since having two kids I want to try to do a monthly blog for both kids, that way we can look back and see how much they have grown and it will be easier to make a online scrap book. This means much more blogging for me.
Aiden
Clothes: 2T-4T

Favorite things to do: Playing with his train set, blocks, & tools. He his his huge room to play with all his toys in but he still thinks he has to bring all of his toys out into the front room. I found him yesterday playing with his blocks in Jade's room.
Movies/Shows: Curious George, Mickey Mouse Club House, Wreck it Ralf, Despicable Me 1 & 2, Bolt, Frozen, Tarzan, How to train a dragon & The Incredibles.
- He has so much energy! I don't know how someone so small can have as much as he does. He means business thats for sure. He runs and plays until he literally drops. When we were packing the trailer to move, Aiden was running around bouncing off the walls & my dad asked if I had given him sugar. I told him, nope thats just Aiden being Aiden.
- He loves going to nursery and making new friends but mostly he likes going cause he gets to play with new toys.
- He has good days and bad days with being potty trained and moving didn't help. Hopefully we can get on top of it again and not have as many accidents. I have to remind myself that he is only 2 years old and most 2 year olds aren't potty trained so that really is an accomplishment. On the plus side- we bought his him a potty stool and if I help him with is pants he will go put the stool in front of the potty, lift the seat and stand to go all by himself so that helps him be a little more independent.
- He thankfully still takes a nap. Since moving we have been able to get back on track & back in our routine of naps after lunch.
- With packing and moving- I wasn't able to work with Aiden with his ABC's much at all and have been worried that he has forgotten them. Today I went through them with him and he was able to identify almost all of them and hadn't forgotten them. Before he was able to point to the letters when asked & now he can tell you the names of almost all the letters are.
- His favorite color is blue. When given the choice he will always pick the blue one of everything. He is also doing well with leaning his colors and telling you what a certain color is.
- He is still pretty shy and doesn't talk all that much when around people other than Jerel & I but is a good copy cat. He says some random phrases but for the most part he doesn't say more than 2- 3 words together. Most of the time its only one word at a time. He does how ever comprehend alot and is a good little helper. When asked to get something for me of Jade 's he is usually happy to help. He loves to throw things away in the garbaged when asked or whenever he knows something is garbage and should be thrown way.

Theres are Aiden's closest cousins in age on both sides. Hunter & Bridger are 6 weeks younger and Jaxon is 10 weeks younger.

Since moving into our new home, Aiden finally got a big boy bed! He has done really well with sleeping in his bed and not falling out. The first few nights in our new home was harder on Aiden with our room being across the house rather than next door like it is used to be. If he does wake in the night I can her his little feet running in towards our bed room. The little stinker can now climb onto our bed by himself too.
It's been really nice to lay down with him on a bed that isn't a crib mattress.

Some times nap time isn't so fun and he doesn't want to take a nap. He fell asleep like this & we had to wait for him to wake up to open his door. Lately the only way I can get him to take a nap or go to bed is to lay with him for a while until he falls alseep.

I have been working on decorating Aiden's room. I hand painted a sports theme for his room. He isn't into sports right now but I thought it would be something he can grow into and I wont have to change for a while. I want to do some curtains in his room.
