4th of July

The Saturday before the 4th of July weekend, our ward had a 4th of July breakfast. 

 

 Aiden loved the fruit.

The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. I always look forward to the Hyrum parade. This year we went to a parade here in Alamogordo.

 Jade slept through some of the parade, that is until the fire trucks came by.

 Aiden wasn't sure about the parade. One thing that was different here is that instead of throwing the candy, people just walked by handing candy out. I think only one car threw candy. Aiden and Daddy picking up some candy.

 The only way to get Aiden to wear his Aggie hat was because Daddy was wearing one too.

 After the parade we went over to one of Jerel's coworkers for a BBQ.

 Our ward met at the church parking lot to watch the fire works. It was further away than we are used to watching them. It was still fun.

 Aiden had fun walking around with Jerel watching all of the fire works people work setting off before the fire work show began.

 Jade didn't seem to mind the fire works. I think if we had been closer both Aiden and Jerel would have been a little more interested.
