Jade 5 months

Jadie baby girl is 5 months old! I know I say this every time but really I can't believe how fast she is growing up.

Aiden & Jade both at 5 months old. I am really amazed at how much these too are alike. Aiden was a little heavier but not by much.

Things about our little Sunshine 

Size diaper: 3
Guessed Weight: 17 lbs- on our scale.

Size clothes: 3-6 months but mostly 3-6 months

Teeth: 2!!! Yep, looks like she is following Aiden by getting her first tooth at 4 1/2 months. July 9th to be exact. Her second tooth came through this morning exactly a week later.

We still haven't had the chance to bring her into see the dr but I did take her to the Alamogordo health department for immunizations. So at least she is caught up on those. I'm really not all that worried about her not being seen on time. She is doing really well and is gaining weight but as soon as we can take her in I will.

Things she has learn over the last month:

She is now a rolling machine. She can now roll both ways and when ever I put her on her back she flips over to her tummy seconds later. She learned to roll to her tummy in a days time, she was very determined to do so. She has learned to roll to the things she wants but also while on her tummy if she can't reach her toy she will scrunch up onto her knees and then stretches back out which inch worms her a little closer. She is much better at scooting backwards than forwards.

She loves her voice! I will often hear her in her crib talking and playing with her toes when she wakes up from her naps. Even when she is teething and had a cold she was still a very happy baby.
She loves to grab things and is really good at holding her toys. I love that she reaches out and touches our faces. When ever Aiden is near she tries to touch him, usually his arm. Which Aiden doesn't usually like but does it any way.  She also has learned to pull her binky out so when I can't find it I have learned the first place to look is in that little hand of hers because that is usually where it is.

She is getting better at sitting by herself but tips over when she tries to look around.

Aiden got a foam letter puzzle.

Sitting outside while Aiden plays in the dirt- before we got sod.

It wasn't much of a surprise when her first tooth came in because she was biting everything and putting all she could in her mouth.

She loves to sit in her new high chair and play with her toys. I think she likes to be "big".

Kind of blurry but still cute. 

Jade got a new toy. Aiden decided he wanted to play too.

She doesn't mind sharing with Aiden one bit.

Aiden insisted Mama play with them too.

Testing out our new stroller. I love it! Its super easy to clip Jade in and out and I can see her. Aiden is too hyper not to have in the stroller. 

She loves to watch that Daddy of hers.  She will often just watch Jerel waiting for him to look at her so she can smile at him.

She decided she would learn to roll over. She tried and tried all day until she could do with with no trouble. Cutie pie.

I made her a 4th of July headband. Turned out pretty cute I think.

Sometimes playing is hard work.

I walked out of the room for a sec and came back to find her fast asleep still playing with her Jinggle ball.

She is learning to scoot but for the time being she can only go backwards.

Fell asleep cuddling that tiger.

Sometimes she decides that the carpet would be funner to lay on than her blanket.

She has also learned that she can roll to things she wants.

She is get better at jumping in her jumperoo.

I love that Aiden is starting to play with her more. Everything is ok when Aiden is by her side.

Since she has learned to roll over she likes to sleep on her tummy/side. This is how I find her a lot. 

 This last week has been rough. We all got colds and this little one is also teething.

 She is still really happy even if she has a cold.

Cuddles for Mama

 Jade's 1st bath in the tub & 1st bath with Aiden. She seemed to like it. I put her in her bumbo cause it seemed like the best way to keep her seated. It worked ok she floated around which was funny.
