Aiden 28 months old

Aiden is growing up so fast. 

Things about Aiden:

Size clothes: 3T & 4T

Teeth: 20

Fav food: Oreos, Apples, Juice, Oatmeal, PB&J, Grapes, Goldfish, Chips, Cheese, Breadsticks, Bananas, Lasagna, Chicken roll ups, Corn dogs.

This is what happens when Aiden doesn't take a nap when he is told. He crashes.

 Watching tv with his sister before bed.

They have been paving a road behind our house. Aiden has enjoyed watching the tractors go by. He had to go get his tractors to watch.

Aiden and Daddy. We thought the mask would scare hub but he just thought they are funny.

Jerel's mom sent his USU diploma and sent some cute shirts and jammies for the kids with it. 

He got really excited when he saw his name.

Lately to get Aiden to take a nap he wants Jade and I to lay in his bed with him. They usually both fall asleep pretty quickly.

1st time playing in his turtle with grass. It was much cleaner this time.

Aiden randomly started blowing on Jades hair. He thought that was pretty funny.

I have been really working with Aiden on his letters, numbers & colors.  We were face timing with Jerel's family when Aiden decided he was going to match his abc's to the letter on the laptop. I have been having him watch Leapfrog letter & number shows. He really likes Letter Factory, Phonics Farm, The Amazing Alphabet Amusement Park, Numbers Ahoy, & Number Land. Lately he has been asking for these shows over Curious George. I can tell the shows have helped him cause he is always asking to play with his letter & number puzzle. When he watches the shows he will sit with his Abc book and follow along with the shows and find each letter as the show introduces them.

Cuddles with Mama and Jade before bed time. Lately he has been really good about getting ready for bed & letting me brush his teeth & saying prayers. Now going to bed is another story. He still lays by the door until he falls asleep hoping we will let him out. Makes me sad that he won't just go lay in bed.

Some times he can be pretty cute with Jade. Since Jade is getting bigger, she is more fun to play with. I am hopping he will start to play with her more and more.

Aiden and I made a fort. He got so excited when he realized what we were making. He ran and got some books to read.

Then he decided that it would be funner with Jade.

 Look at that little tongue stick out while he is focusing.

 Grandma Neesey sent matching shirts for everyone from Grandpa Eldon's 90th bday.

Aiden thought pulling Jade's binky out was so funny. Not sure why. Jade didn't seem to mind. She doesn't seem to mind anything when she is with Aiden. - That is as long as he isn't too rough.

Aiden found this ABC tracing book at Walmart. He decided to lay down on the floor, in the middle of the isle and read it right then and there. An old man came over to us and started talking to Aiden about his book. Aiden showed him all the letters. The old man couldn't believe Aiden was only 2 and knew all of his letters.

 He loves tracing the letters and numbers. We have several apps on our iPad that he can do that with. He has gotten really good at tracing with his left hand. Maybe we will have a lefty. Never know. Maybe he will get this book for christmas.

We bought Aiden a number puzzle so he could learn his numbers. This is one way we practice them, he names it and finds where the numbers go then he gets the treat inside. This last week we have been doing numbers more often. He learned to recognize numbers 1-5 and surpised me when he knew 1-10 only a few days later.

Learning letters with Play-Doh. Any games I can come up with to learn his letters and numbers we have been doing the past few weeks plus watching LeapFrog. I feel like thats all we ever to but he wants to play with the letters & numbers. He gets excited when he sees letters on random things.

He surprised me by counting all the way to 10 by himself. I didn't know he knew them that well. Guess he has been learning something.

He thought Word was pretty cool, finding letters and watching them appear on the screen.

Then again a few mins later I caught him singing and counting on the potty.
