Jerel-Kristin-Aiden-Jade-Kasen-Cora: Jadie baby 6 months old!

Happy 6 months to this baby! 6 Months! WOW! I love this 6 month pic of her, it totally captured Jade. She is such a happy baby. I know I must sound like a broken record by saying that all the time but really she is though. She is a chunky little thing, why wouldn't she be?

Somethings about this baby of mine:

Size diaper: 4- Just bumped her up. She still fits in 3s but bigger is better when it comes to diapers.

Guessed Weight: 19 lbs? She has her 6 month dr appointment scheduled for the 29th. UPDATE: She had her 6 months dr appointment today. Dr. McFarland is really nice & says she is doing really well. He was very impressed that she is able to sit on her own and is scooting/army crawling. One thing he did tell me that I thought was strange: to watch what solids & make sure I'm not giving her the high calorie or fattening baby foods... She is a chunk but she will thin out with her crawling now.

Weight: 19lbs 8oz- I was right! 90 percentile

Length: 26.5 inches- 50 percentile

Head: 42.3cm -50 percentile

Size clothes: 6-9

Teeth: 2. She has been a little sad and chewing on everything so I wouldn't be surprised if she was getting more.

2nd Hair cut: Well kinda. Every few months I have been trimming her extra long hairs but this time I cut 1 inch off or you could say her rooster tail.

Lazy Saturday snuggles with Mama- wait Saturday? Ha I get to do this every day! Love being a stay at home mom.

She is really good at grabbing things, everything and anything in her reach.

She surprised us by being able to sit while face timing Jerel's parents. (Notice the rooster tail- thats what I trimmed off)

This was the next day. Getting a hang of it.

She can sit up all by herself!

And since learning this little sitting up trick, it is exactly what she intends on doing. She wouldn't lean back into her carseat.

Playing outside is fun.

But playing on the grass is better. 1st time touching the grass. She didn't seem to mind it at all.

Bath time in the sink. Its much easier to give her a bath in the tub but she didn't seem to mind one in the sink. Water it water to her.

This little squirt is determined to crawl. She rocks back and forth like crazy and keeps at it all day. Trying to get that big brother of hers. It is true what they say- when they have older siblings to get they have more motivation. She is army crawling now & scooting. She loves to roll around too & sure can get around. Once she figures out the crawling on her hands and knees she will be much faster .... oh boy! I love that she chases Aiden around. She kind of reminds me of an inch worm.

I love how she falls asleep in her jumper like Aiden used to.

She loves sucking her fingers. Like I said, I'm pretty sure she is getting more teeth.

I was getting Jade and Aiden decided to come help.

Good morning! Yep I have two early birds for children. They both wake either when Jerel leaves for work or soon after so 6am... On the bright side, there is no need for alarm clocks.

She loves to talk! Lately she has been making this growling noise. So cute. Love how she says Daddy.

She is really good at sitting up by herself with a straight back. Sometimes she tips over though Cute baby in overalls.

She still likes to be bundled but sometimes will sleep with just a blanket. Usually she will sleep better and longer if she is bundled though.

She loves to play with her toes. I often find her eating them and grabbing them.

We started solids about a week ago. She really liked the oatmeal. So far she has tried: apple sauce, pears, peas, & squash. I don't know if she really cared for the pears though. She loves ice water & puffs.

I think she liked it.

She liked laying on her tummy in the water. She sure go a surprised when she put her face in the water. She doesn't like laying on her back in the water though but then again neither does Aiden.
