Halloween 2014

Halloween really is one of my favorite holidays! I love the cool, crips air and Autumn time... ha yeah it really isn't Autumn here yet. It is starting to get cooler towards the end of the day though.
The kids with their pumpkins ready to carve them. Cutie pies.
Aiden wasn't so sure about the gross stuff inside the pumpkins. Jerel helped Aiden carve his pumpkin and I helped Jade. Aiden's was a scary one. He kept saying scary!!! And then laughed when he say Jade's saying it was silly & patting it.
This is the first year we have had steps to put our pumpkins out on. Aiden liked them. We did them the week before Halloween and threw them away a few days before. Oh well, we still have fun and they served their purpose.

Our ward did a trunk-or-treat with some games for the little kids. Getting ready to pass out candy. Jade was dressed as a Cabbage Patch Kid and Aiden was Captain America.
Everyone thought Jade was the perfect doll and kept wanting to squeeze her cheeks. They couldn't believe how much she looked like one i guess.
Daddy and Jade.
Aiden playing a beanbag throw game except he didn't want to throw it- he would rather put it right in the whole. So cute. Funny how the boy holding the ghost was like... what?
Mommy & Captain America Aiden. He noticed the A on his head. HAHA
Ready to go around trick or treating. Jerel and I took turns walking around with Aiden. Jade loved being in the wrap and being able to see every one. She was so good. It was still pretty warm out which was nice. Halloween in short sleeves and capris. Ha couldn't do that in Utah.

The trunk-or-treat only lasted about an hour which was great.
Cutie pies checking out their treat or treat buckets.
Aiden had to see when Jade got.

Squeeze them cheeks!

We dressed Aiden up the night before Halloween to practice saying trick-or-treat & to see if he would let me put the mask on. He would only wear it as long as I tucked the eye wholes up so he could see.

Cute little voice! Trick or Treat! Yeah he only said it a few times while trick or treating but thats ok.
The next day we baked and decorated pumpkin sugar cookies.

Aiden decorated a few...

Then decided that eating the frosting would be better...

Decorating sugar cookies isn't Jerel's "thing".. too bad I said do it any way.

Happy holidays! Let the holidays begin!
