Aiden's 22 month stats:
Diapers: Back to size 5 when I realized that they are not that much smaller than 6's plus thou get a lot more with 5's for the same price as 6's.
Clothes: 2T & 3T
Favorite food: Pizza, French toast, Chocolate chip pancakes, Hotdogs, Tomatoes, Strawberries, Cheese, Bread, Apple Juice, Oatmeal, Gummy Bears, Smarties, Dumdums. He seems to eat better when I give him finger foods rather than things he has to pick up with a fork. He used to like using a fork... must be a phase...
ABC's: My Dr. told me that parents now days aren't pushing their children to learn things earlier when they are fully capable of learning a lot more than we think. He told me to start working with him on counting, ABCs, colors, & shapes. He knows his shapes really well just doesn't say their names. I bought him a ABC puzzle which has upper case and lower case letters with a picture of a object representing each letter. The first time I got it out for him to play with he couldn't do very many of them but only a few days later he can now do more then half of them. When he gets stuck and doesn't know the letter or can't find where it goes, I just ask him to find picture and he does.
Talking: He will copy what we ask. We try to make him ask for it before he gets things. Or ask him questions before giving him things. We have been working on getting him to say more than one word at a time. He now counts to 3 and says go which is cute. He has been come a daddy's boy and always calls for him or says his name. He is still really shy around people other than Jerel and I so he is pretty quite. He knows the sounds to the fallowing animals: Dog, Cat, Monkey, Elephant, Cow, Horse, Sheep, Bear, Lion & Pig. It gets cuter every time he does it.
Bed Time: He has been doing awesome with going to sleep when we put him in bed. He tells us "I lobe you!" & night night & then bye. He rolls over and goes to bed. Naps he will complain for little while or just play in his crib until he gets bored enough to fall asleep.
Fav movies/shows: Despicable Me & Super Why. We have actually limited his tv time which has made him a better toddler I think. I let him watch maybe an episode a day or every other day. We read a lot of books instead.
Helping Mama get baby Jade's basinet ready.
He must of been pretty tired to fall asleep in his high chair.
He likes to play on the computer at Grandma Achatz's house. After watching Jerel he knows exactly what to do.
He likes to pull my shirt up to see my tummy ball. If I ask him where baby Jade is he will point to my tummy. Sometimes when asked he will also point to his Daddy's tummy too. HAHA
He likes to cross his leg. We think its pretty funny.
Testing out little sister's carseat. It must be pretty comfy.
The best part was the box the carseat came in.
The little stinker likes to climb up onto the window...
This is apparently the best way to eat treats during sacrament.
WARNING: POTTY TIME TALK!!!!
We started potty training. We were pretty excited when he actually went. He was so proud of himself.
He will randomly ask to sit on the potty and will go. We aren't pushing potty training yet since he can't pull his pants down by himself but if he asks why not. He loves the gummy bears he gets.
He also gets really upset when he pees/poops in his diaper.
He has worn underwear once and stayed dry for 4 hours! :)
I didn't think this was all that funny but he sure did. Yuck! Yogurt was every where.
Cold walk with Daddy to school. He was nice and toasty though and tired.
I made a hat for both Aiden and Jade.
I think they turned out pretty cute. He loves it and we get lots of complements when we go places.
Crossing that cute little leg.
One of his favorite toys at Grandma Achatz's house. He looks through them backwards though to see better... :)
Cutie.
Loving his hot dogs.
He loves to watch the snow fall outside.
Cutest little puppy enjoying playing out in the cold.
A few crafts here and there I have done to keep me busy.
I love how it turned out. Janese helped me embroider the owl & saying.
I also made a blanket that I still need to bind.... and my mom gave me some cute flannel flower with chevron material to make a blanket.
