All about Jade:
3 day old Dr. Appt:
Weight: 7lbs 11oz- almost back to birth weight. She was 7lbs 9oz when we left the hospital
Length: 19.75"- Funny how she was 20" in the hospital....
She is a very good baby very much the same as Aiden was. She loves to be swaddled and can't settle down unless she is nice and tightly wrapped. If anything touches her face such as her hands or her binky falls out she goes wild trying to eat them. She is a binky baby but some times has a hard time finding it even if it is already in her mouth & has a hard time keeping the dang thing in. She hates sponge baths because she gets cold but loves to getting her hair washed. He umbilical cord has almost fallen off so it will be exciting to see what she thinks of a bath. Same goes for getting her diaper changed. She enjoys pooping with her diaper off. Man that baby can poop!!! Guess we know she is getting what she needs and is chunking up. We have gone through several diapers in just one change because she decided it would be a nice surprise. She does cute little baby snores. Loves to be held and to sleep in my arms or next to me. Loves the vibrater the is on her bassinet. She just started doing some baby smiles when we talk to her. She has defiantly stollen our hearts and we feel very blessed to have such a sweet little spirit in our home.

Meeting Grandma & Grandpa Nielsen.
Meeting Great Grandma Page. She didn't get to meet Great Grandpa Page yet because he wasn't able to make it up the stairs because he has recently injured his back.
Aiden's 1st time holding his baby sister. He randomly held out his hands for her and was super excited to hold her. This melted my heart. I was super nervous to have him around her because he can be rough and throws things but it turns out I didn't have to worry so much.. as of now.
Aiden loves her and is such a big help. I have never seen him like this toward any other baby or child. I will often find his balls or cars placed in her swing because he has shared. Also have to keep an eye on him because he wants to share his cereal too. He will go push her swing if it stops and likes to bring me her blanket. While cuddling on the couch he reached over patted her on the head and smiled. I hope it lasts and he doesn't suddenly decide that he doesn't like her. If and when that day comes we will deal with it then, but for now we will celebrate 1 week down.
He got even more excited when we put Jade's puppy hat on.
It was the cutest thing watching him touch the nose on Jade's hat and then touch his puppy hat.

Well hello!
Day 5 she was wake the most. Love how alert she is here. I am loving putting little head bands on her. :)
Just chilling. Aiden likes Jade's bouncer chair. It must be pretty comfy.
Sneak peck at her newborn session.. Love the Yellow and Grey! She didn't like getting her pic taken very much and it took several hours. In total she pooped on 4 of the swaddle wraps and peed on my lap. I was holding her up by my face when it felt like a glass of warm water was poured into my lap. Thats what we get for taking her diaper off but the photographer insisted. She was all happy and calm when it came time for me to put her clothes back on and put her in her car seat as if she knew the toucher was over.
1st baby smiles. She loves when we talk to her and is most smily after just waking up.
