Aiden 23 months:
Very soon this little boy will be 2! Crazy to look at Jade and know that it wasn't that long ago that Aiden was small enough to lay on my lap. He has grow so fast.
Clothes: 2T & 3T
ABC's: He knows over half of them and can match almost all of them in his ABC puzzle.
Colors: We are working on it but for the most part he can tell you which one is the- red, blue, green, & yellow.
Animals: He makes the animal sounds for: Dog, Cat, Monkey, Lion/Tiger/Bear (those are the same sound), Horse, Cow, Pig, Chicken, Rooster, Goat/Lamb.
Some funny things he says:
-Mess!- If he makes a mess in his room or if its raining out side its a mess.
-It broke!- When he breaks his toys such as his train track.
-Help!- He will then say HAND! and reach for your hand so he can take you where he wants to.
-Come one-
-Mote! Y!- He wants the remote so he can watch Super Why.
-I pooped!- Yep he tells us.... At least he doesn't like to sit in it. We slacked on working with him on getting potty trained with the birth of Jade but I am hoping to start it up again.
I love when he says Bye & waves. He says it in such a soft calm voice.
Favorite Foods: Yogurt, Cheese, Grapes, Strawberries & Juice. Yep thats about it. Well and cookies. He does like Chicken roll ups but really he is a picky picky eater.
Love that he does this.
Cuddling with Mama & sister. I am so impressed with this little guy. I really did think he would have a hard time with being a big brother and all that comes with a new baby. He has done so good. He isn't all that interested in her like he was the first few days but he is still really good with her, bringing me things I need for her, pushing her swing when it has stopped, covering her with a blanket cause he thinks she is cold, putting her binky in even if she is fast asleep and clearly doesn't need it. He will give her a kiss on the head when asked to give kisses for bed time. The only thing I have noticed that
My little sweeties. You are my SunShine! I love that Aiden likes to come cuddle with me while I hold Jade.
Out on a quick trip to the grocery store with just Mama & Aiden. Jade stayed home with Jerel. I got him buckled and was pulling out of the parking lot when he got upset- "WANT JADE!!! WANT JADE!!!" I asked him if we should go get Jade, he quickly said yes!!! He was worried I had forgotten her I guess. Separation anxiety already? When we were finished shopping, I asked him if we should go home and see Jade & Daddy.

He brought me his blanket and I asked him if he wanted me to wrap him up like Jade. He said YES! :)

Aiden tripped while playing and hurt his foot. His Dr. wanted to have it x-ray just in case he broke it. Turns out he just really really bruised it. It was pretty sad watching him hobble around cause it hurt. Here he is fast asleep while waiting for the x-ray tech get things ready.

Yes, we let our children play with the garbage can. No, the little stinker grabs it when we take the trash out. Gross little boy!!!
He loves to stack his legos by color and gets upset if you try to mix the colors. I have been trying teach him his colors.
He also likes to separate his Fruit loops. Caught Jerel doing the same thing with his Skittles.... Like father Like son???
He found his stroller from ABQ and likes to sit in it to watch tv.
I stepped out of the room for a min and came back to this.... :)
Last night he asked to hold her and just sat and smiled at her while patting her tummy. He also likes to help me burp her.
Aiden fell out of his crib twice both times I'm pretty sure he fell head first. Jerel asked him to show him how he got out and sure enough he throws his leg over the bar and out he came. So Jerel took his crib down and last night was his first time sleeping on just the mattress. He did really well. This is a pic of his nap he is taking as I blog this. Just have to make sure all of his toys are put away other than his stuffed animals and he goes to sleep. Very grateful.
