Random things about Aiden

Aiden loves to ride his bike outside. He has gotten really good at it, lifting his feet up to balance & doing fast turns & figure 8's. Crazy to think that he wouldn't even sit on the seat when we first moved here. He says he goes super fast!
He loves to pretend he is a kitty cat! Always a kitty never a dog. He will sit by you or on you purring and meowing. He does it a lot actually.
We are working on him learning to dress himself. He can put his undies and shorts on if they are stretchy. I lay them on the ground flat for him so he knows what way to put them on.
He can now go potty by himself. He still comes and tells me but sometimes he will just go in by himself, shut the door and go. He will come out without pants on, for some reason he has to take his pants all the way off instead of just pulling them down. I have to him to go get his pants which he usually does. He will come get us when he needs wiped which is fine. He is also tall enough standing on the stool to reach the sink and wash his hands by himself. How good he washes them, I'm not sure but its a start.
His favorite color is blue, it has been for a while. If you give him the option between colors he will usually pick blue.
He really likes robots right now. We bought him two shirts with robots on them and he loves to wear them.
The kids go to bed at 8pm every night. We had a child safety on the inside of Aiden's door to keep him from coming out. He is usually pretty good about staying in there which is nice. He will come out and say he has to pee or he needs a drink. Anything to stay up a little later i guess. It is nice that he can now come out on his own when he wakes up.
He still has a thing about flash lights and sticks! He loves them. He loves to play with my spatulas cause i guess they are sticks.
He knows the words so a lot of songs I didn't know he did. The other day i was singing to Jade and I could hear him singing all the words. :) He knows Itsy winsy spider, Do as i'm doing, If your happy and you know it, 5 little monkeys swinging in the tree/ jumping on the bed, Popcorn popping on the apricot tree & of course the ABC song. Those are the ones i know he knows for sure. For Fathers Day during sacrament the kids when up to sing and aiden sang the songs sitting next to me on the bench quietly to himself.
He is getting better all the time at counting. He has been able to count to 20 for a while now but some of the numbers he didn't pronounce very well. He can now pronounce them much better. Sometimes I will hear him counting over 20 so I'm actually not sure how high he can count.
Fav shows to watch: Curious George, Little Einstein's, Magic School Bus, Kipper the Dog, Animal Mechanicals, Leap frog shows. Pretty much anything he will watch.
Funny things he will say: How the baby got into my tummy- "went down, down, down your neck into your tummy!" "Mommy you work out!?" & when I'm finished, "Mommy you done working out!"
When we go on walks he knows which house is ours. Ours is one of the only green ones but even when we ask if him another green house is ours he knows its not. He also knows which car is ours.
He still likes his feet tickled as much as possible. Yesterday at Wendy's he took his shoe off and asked Jerel saying he needed foot tickles.
He has been really worried about me packing our stuff and putting things into boxes. The only thing that makes him happy is i will tell him that we are moving and going to live with grandma & grandpa for a little bit. He gets happy says "oh yes i like that!"
He comes to get kisses on his owies which always makes it better
He likes to play with Jade although he does get too excited and rough a lot of the time. At least he likes to play with her.

Sitting on Daddy's lap is the best and well if Aiden is sitting on Daddy's lap Jade has to also.

One of my favorite things Aiden says as we drive past this big hotel on the way into town: "Big hooooouse!"

Apparently this was the comfy place to lay.

He kept putting this basket on his head and getting it stuck. He had done it several times before I took this pic.

Jerel went on a little over night trip to Denver for a conference. We sure missed him!

Father's Day!!!

Aiden likes to play kitty. He does this a lot lately.

This is the face I get a lot of the time when I take pic of Aiden. He tires to get the phone for some reason.

The kids got a few free toys from Huggies.com. Aiden loved the tunnel.

Playing with Daddy on a Sunday evening. Aiden loves playing with this toy which he doesn't get to very often cause it becomes a messy toy. They also run around with the sticks which makes me nervous.
