July 25th we packed up and moved back to Utah. We decided to cut our trip in half and stayed in a hotel in Cortez, CO. Defiantly made for a nicer trip.
All packed up and ready to go. Jerel and to guys from our ward packed that tiny trailer until there was no more room. I actually can't believe most of it fit. The only things we left behind was my rocking chair which I gave to a friend and our Christmas tree.
We got to Hyrum early afternoon. This is Jade meeting her new cousin, baby Aliese. Jerel's sister Ashley had her baby July 3rd. She seemed to like the baby but wasn't interesting in holding her or touching her.
Oh that Papa Al. She isn't so sure about being picked up and loved but she doesn't get upset or cry, she just sits there and takes it.
Jerel meeting his new niece.
Jade & her cousin Jace playing in the yard.
Jade really likes this little car.
Oh that Grandpa Al!!!
Jade really likes Belle too! The first time she saw her she just squealed and ran after her. Belle pretty much leaves Jade a lone, licking her face every so often.
My parents came to Hyrum to visit us.
Jade meeting her cousin Walter. They are 13 months apart.
Saying bye to Grandma & Grandpa Achatz. Aiden really liked my Dad's Harley and turning the handle bar to make it rev.
My Mom and I ran into my cousin Dayna. She lives in Washington so I haven't seen her in years.
Jade really likes the trikes at Grandma Neesey's house. You would think I only had 1 child cause I never get pics of Aiden. He is way too busy for that.
Swings
There Aiden is.
My sister came over for a dinner in Hryum. It was great seeing her.
Jade also really likes the slide and thinks she can climb up it all by herself.
Grab that puppy tail Aiden.
This rarely happens that she will go back to sleep after waking in the morning. Cute Daddy snuggles.
The kids found baby chairs & liked sitting in them.
Look at those cute piggy tails.
Relaxing while the kids play. Look at that belly grow.
Aiden came and asked me if he could play on the grass... when he was really asking if he could PEE on the grass... Whoops....
We went to the Logan pool with Alisha. The kids really liked the water.
Aides with his cousin Hunter McBride sharing a snow cone. Aiden calls Hunter, "My Hunter" Its amazing how well Aiden plays with older kids vs kids closer to his age.
Oh Jade, how I love that little face of yours.
Laying on Papa Al's belly. I don't know why she doesn't cry or ask to be put down she just looks at us like, "save me!"
Fun cars at Ridleys in Hyrum.
Aides making cousin Walter laugh. So funny!
We are so very grateful to be living near family again. I really has been great seeing family.
